Title:Vertical distribution and pollution assessment of heavy metals in sediments of inland lakes----Take Wuhan East Lake as an example
Abstract: In order to grasp the water environment of Wuhan East Lake, sediment samples were collected and the contents of 9 heavy metals (Cd, Zn, As, Cu, Co, Pb, Mn, Cr, Ni) in sediment column samples of different lake regions were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICP-MS), and the vertical distribution characteristics were obtained: The geopressure index method was used to evaluate the pollution range of heavy metals. The content of nine kinds of heavy gold elements in the sediments was arranged in the order of Mn>, Cr>, Pb>, Zn>, Ni>,Cu >, Co>As>Cd. The vertical distribution characteristic was that the content of Cr and Ni increased with the increase of the sediment depth, while the content of Cu, As and Cd decreased with the increase of the sediment depth. The evaluation of geological accumulation index shows that the west coast of Guozheng Lake is the most polluted, while Tangling Lake is the least polluted. Cr, Mn, Cd and Pb accumulate more seriously, and Cd and Pb reach a moderate degree of pollution.
